Connect2 Marriage Counseling is beginning two groups to address the support needs for miscarriage and child loss (death of a child). Both groups are open to women and men.

Helping Partners Become Couples
If you’ve been reading Couple’s Net, you probably already know that our mission is Helping Partners Become Couples. We do that through pre-marital, couples, and Wrap-Around Couples Therapy, plus seeing individuals to support their relationship.
Our new groups are open to individuals or couples.

Confidential Support and Education
In each group, we’ll have a safe and confidential space to discuss our feelings, concerns, pains, thoughts, hopes, and dreams.

You’ll learn about grief, the differing styles of grief, and how to support each other in your relationship during these worst of times.

Miscarriage Group
Miscarriage is the hidden grief, often not talked about. Yet many women and couples experience one or more miscarriages. In fact, 15-20% of pregnancies end in miscarriage. Women and men also may view miscarriage differently, and have differing reactions and support needs.

Child Loss Group
Child loss is the most devastating loss ? it is not even imaginable. But when it happens, your world is turned upside down, inside out, and the pain is intolerable and indescribable.

The research shows that child loss does NOT lead to higher rates of divorce. With miscarriage and child loss, cracks that previously existed in your relationship are likely to show up, and need to be addressed.

The child loss group is open to those who have lost children from babies to adults.

About the Groups
Each group will be limited to six people.

These are fee-based groups, in eight weeks sessions.
