Learn the sensuous and beautiful movements of this ancient art form while building strength and flexibility. Incorporating music and dance from the Middle East and north Africa, the class covers beginning belly dance isolations with an emphasis on balance and control. This dance celebrates the female form, irrespective of age and body type. Wear an Indian skirt with scarf at the hips, short or tank top (bare stomach optional) and bare feet.
