Class Guide is published quarterly in the Palo Alto Weekly. Descriptions of classes offered in Palo Alto, Menlo Park, Stanford, Atherton, Los Altos Hills, Portola Valley and East Palo Alto are provided. Listings are free and subject to editing. Master of Liberal Arts Program (MLA) Stanford University,

MLA program at Stanford University allows you to earn your master's degree at one of the world's great centers of learning. The MLA Program was created with working adults in mind and takes three to five years to complete. It is designed for students who wish to pursue a broad, interdisciplinary course of study in the liberal arts. Small seminars, taught by Stanford faculty, meet in the evenings. Mid-Peninsula High School encourages students to set and pursue realistic goals. Students come from a variety of backgrounds and take a traditional college preparatory curriculum in small classes (average 15 per class).
