David O Krantz

David O. Krantz, 59, died March 26.

A Mountain View resident of 17 years, Krantz was a native of Medford Lakes, New Jersey. He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War and worked as a teacher, author, editor, school psychologist, publishing executive, and educational activist for special education reform.

Krantz published the newsletters Parents Educating Parents and Special Education Observer and wrote Taming the IEP. At the time of his death, he was CEO and board chair of CPP, Inc. in Palo Alto.

Krantz is survived by his wife Jackie, children Katy and Bill, mother Adele and brother Matthew.
