Condon trial preliminary examination expected in June

The preliminary examination in the murder trial of Doris "Dot" Condon is expected to be held in June. According to prosecutors, San Jose residents Leonel Cantor, also known as Enrique Chavez, and David Olayo entered Condon’s home on Oct. 25 and beat her severely. A third man, Jose Sosa, is charged with being an accessory to the murder for driving Chavez and Olayo from Condon’s home. The defendants have all plead not guilty. 77-year-old Condon was beaten in her home on Jardin Drive and died later from injuries. Her death has launched Mountain View’s first murder case in roughly two years.
