Commercial Burglary -- Safeway, California Street, 7/4

At approximately 6 p.m., a manager at Albertson's on California St. called police after a woman attempted to purchase merchandise with a suspicious credit card and identification. When police arrived, they determined that the credit card was stolen and the identification forged.

Officers searched the suspect's car and discovered $750 worth of goods from the Safeway across the street, purchased with the same stolen card. The items included apple cider, Tylenol and lip gloss.

Obscene Phone Calls -- 1900 block Plymouth St., 6/29

A woman called police to complain of more than a week of annoying phone calls. The unidentified caller always asked, "Do I have the right number?" before hanging up.
