Local interior design firm wins award

Mountain View-based Kraft Design Build Associates has been selected by "Remodeling" magazine as a winner of the 2004 Big50 Award in the Remodeling Home Construction category. The Big50 awards were presented at a gala dinner at the Remodeling Leadership Conference in Washington, D.C. on May 14. Winning companies were featured in the May issue of "Remodeling" magazine.

Each year the magazine inducts 50 companies which have set the standard for professionalism and integrity through smart marketing, exemplary business practices, unique design and extraordinary impact in their community or the industry at large.

Dance the summer away

Professional dancer Robyn Baltzer has opened Robyn Baltzer's School of Dance Arts at 1050 Grant Road, a school geared toward beginning and intermediate dancers who want to broaden their knowledge and skill level in dance. Summer sessions have begun, and the school is now enrolling students for summer and fall classes for students ages five and up.
