Forgery and Burglary -- In & Out liquor store, 1313 W. El Camino Real, 10/01
A man entered the liquor store at about 10:38 p.m. and attempted to use a counterfeit check. The police arrived on the scene and discovered there was a warrant out for the suspect on a narcotics charge.
Upon the arrest, police discovered narcotics on the suspect's body. The police arrested and placed him in jail for forgery, burglary and drug possession.
Prowling and Peeping -- 100 block N. Whisman Road, 10/02
A man was seen looking into a window of an apartment unit at about 12:07 a.m. The suspect was later located, identified and placed under citizen's arrest.
Robbery -- Shoreline Amphitheatre, 10/03
At the Doghouse Comedy Jam, three unknown men approached a 27-year-old man at 11:35 p.m. who was lying down in the lawn area. The three suspects began kicking the victim as he covered his face to prevent further injuries. The suspects stole two diamond earrings and a watch from him.
The victim described the attackers as Hispanic, 25 years old, 6 feet tall and medium built. The suspects are still at large.
