School brief

Castro School was featured at School Night at Apple Computer Store in Palo Alto on Feb. 15. Apple Store invited the school to share its work in technology.

Students from all grades had a chance to showcase their projects. For example, third, fourth and fifth-graders shared their iMovies, Web pages and PowerPoint slides featuring projects such as "Save the Baylands" and "Explorers & Native Americans.

Kindergarteners shared bilingual stories, and second-graders shared video and digital photos to document their lessons on butterflies.
