Armed robbery -- 400 block Del Medio, 3/11

A man was walking when two Hispanic males approached him. One showed him a knife and forced the victim to give him his cash. The two suspects then fled on foot. One was described as as a 5-foot 4-inch, 16-year-old male wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and pants. The second suspect was a 22-year-old heavyset male.

Assault with a deadly weapon -- 615 S. Rengstorff Ave., 3/11

A group of teenagers were eating at Maldonado's Pizza when they were approached by a group of men who shouted gang-related obscenities and threw pieces of concrete and bottles. One victim was hit with a bike-lock chain and suffered minor injuries.

The suspects then fled on foot before the police arrived. The police were able to locate one suspect and identify him as a person who threw concrete pieces. He was arrested and booked in juvenile hall.
