Cop Log

The manager of Beverages and More was closing up just after 9 p.m. when he noticed that the chain on the roll-up door had been cut. He saw three sets of legs outside and found three men who had stacked several cases of high-end champagne on a cart outside. The men were caught and nothing was stolen.

Battery at Molly Magee's, 6/17

An alcohol-induced bar brawl occurred between customers and bouncers at Molly Magee's Irish Pub on Castro Street. There were four or five victims and three or four witnesses, all with no serious injuries. Nobody was arrested.

Arson at 100 block W. Dana St, 6/17

Somebody coming off the Steven's Creek Trail walking their dog saw two teenagers setting fire to the basketball hoop. The witness saw the juveniles throw something up and catch the net on fire. The teens were caught, cited and turned over to their parents.
