Asked in Downtown Mountain View. Pictures and interviews
by Jenny Baer and Julia Patrick
"The restaurant I went to most recently was 'Pasta?' and that was
pretty good food for the money. It's new food, different kinds of food and
at a good price."
Leslie Edwards, Campbell
"Los Charros Mexican food. You can eat there for like three dollars and it's great."
Tim Susman, Mountain View
"I would say Dana Street CafÈ's lattes. $2.65 for a double shot."
Claire Goodwin, Palo Alto
"I like Madras CafÈ in Sunnyvale. It's an awesome South Indian restaurant, it's completely affordable and it's the most authentic Indian restaurant I've eaten at. "
Mike Seeba, Mountain View
"We'll probably just cook breakfast at home."
Vickie Lee and daughter Maddilyn, Mountain View
"There aren't really that many bargains. There's nice Chinese restaurants and a new Greek restaurant but that's all I can say about prices."
Selma Sachs, Mountain View
