Robbery, E. Evelyn Ave, 1/27

Two suspects carrying handguns entered the Shop and Save at 779 East Evelyn Avenue at 7:45 p.m. and demanded money from store clerks at gunpoint. During the robbery, one of the suspects struck a store clerk in the face with his gun. The clerk later declined emergency medical treatment. The two suspects are described as black adult males in their 20s, between 5-foot-6 and 5-foot-8, wearing black hooded sweatshirts, black masks and carrying semiautomatic handguns. Both suspects are still at large.

Possession of a Loaded Firearm, S. Rengstorff, 1/29

A person calling at 7:30 a.m. reported seeing a male suspect shooting a handgun into the air as he was driving on California Street. Mountain View police located and stopped a vehicle on the 200 block of South Rengstorff. Inside the car, police found a revolver and numerous rounds. The individuals in the car, ages 49 and 48, were arrested for possession of a loaded firearm in a vehicle.
