This evening, trustees of the Mountain View Whisman School District board are scheduled to vote on a measure to reduce the hours and benefits of 11 full-time aides who work with autistic students at Slater School.
The vote was pulled from the board's last meeting agenda after a union representing the aides asked the district to engage in further discussion regarding the cuts.
Also on the agenda tonight, trustees will consider approval of the Castro Elementary site plan. They will also continue discussion on the School Facilities Improvement Plan, the district's 10-year master plan.
The meeting is open to the public and begins at 6:45 p.m. following a closed session, and will take place at the district office, 750-A San Pierre Way, Mountain View.
