Spring parade rolls through town Saturday

The 33rd Annual Spring Downtown Parade is happening this year on Saturday, April 23, in Downtown Mountain View, at noon along Castro Street.

This year's theme, "Mountain View in Bloom," presented by the Mountain View Recreations Division, will celebrate parks and the changing of seasons to spring.

The National Weather Service forecasts a slight chance of rain Saturday, but the parade will go on despite the weather.

After the parade there will be a special event in Pioneer Park, where there will be food, entertainment, children's activities and music. Pioneer Park is located behind Mountain View City Hall at 500 Castro St.

For more information call 650-903-6331.
