Diamond jewelry stolen from house

Assorted diamond jewelry was stolen when a house in the 1800 block of Golden Way was burglarized on July 28, police said.

The 58-year-old female victim reported the incident shortly after she discovered the items had been taken at 11:40 a.m., according to Mountain View police spokeswoman Liz Wylie.

Wylie said that the burglary had occurred sometime between 10 a.m. and 11:40 a.m.

aside from Waverly Park, this is about as far from the DWC as you can get in MV... and not too many 'just happen to be in the area' types in this neighborhood. time to test that alarm system again... seen this movie before and there's a lot of deja vu until the police catch the perps.
