Critical Mass? No, it's Kidical Mass

A mellow bike ride on Saturday aimed to get more families on their bikes.

The Oct. 19 "Kidical Mass" event at Eagle Park, could become a monthly gathering. It featured prizes and a "street skills class," along with tune-ups available from Performance Bicycle mechanics.

Check out our Kidical Mass photo gallery with photos by Michelle Le.

Thanks Voice and Michelle Le for the wonderful photos. My phone quit and all the other volunteers were too busy to take photos so we're so happy you captured the fun! Thanks for helping to spread the word about this new event in our community.

Many people in MV want to use their bicycles more for everyday transportation but need a little support. This ride does that while we all have a good time and get a little exercise. See you next month! Winona See website for updates/details: Web Link

Wish that schools would organize these on weekdays. Have kids meet at fixed locations around town, then bike to school together. Safety in numbers.
