COMING UP: 'A Monster Bash'
|
The city is hosting a free "Monster Bash Halloween Celebration" at the Mountain View Community Center this Sunday evening, and everyone's invited.
Kids are encouraged to come in costume, as a Children's Costume Parade will be held beginning at 5:45 p.m. Refreshments will be served, arts and crafts activities will be held from 5 to 6 p.m., and at 6 p.m. a movie — "Monsters vs. Aliens" — will be shown on a large screen on the outdoor stage. The event wraps up at 8 p.m.
Organizers say the event will be moved indoors in case of inclement weather, and they ask that attendees bring their own blankets and lawn chairs.
The Monster Bash Halloween Celebration is Sunday, Oct. 25 at the Mountain View Community Center, 201 South Rengstorff Ave. For more information, call the Community Center at (650) 903-6331.— Staff Reports Are you receiving Express, our free daily e-mail edition?
