 | Joseph Mijares, a long-time Mountain View resident, recently reached a real milestone. On Sept. 21 he turned 100 years old. Mijares, who has lived in Mountain View for 60 of those years, was born in San Diego, and during his long life has worked as a farm laborer and a bootlegger -- he says he ran moonshine up and down the state during Prohibition.
