MVLA passes district goals
|
| During its regular meeting Monday, the board of the Mountain View-Los Altos Union High School District unanimously adopted three-year district goals to improve student academic performance, recruit high-quality employees and provide financial transparency and stability.
The district intends to start addressing these goals in July by expanding its advanced classes, offering additional programs for adult students and providing more health care options for employees injured on the job.
The priorities have not changed much since last year, when the board adopted goals for 2007-08, but these extend from 2008 to 2011. — Casey Weiss Are you receiving Express, our free daily e-mail edition? See a sample and sign-up for Express.
