Enough! I've read your numerous comments over the past two weeks, regarding this story and several others. It is clear to all of us that you are a very intelligent and articulate member of our community. However, you have used your gifts to criticize those who grieve for this young man and ridicule those who may not be as well-educated as yourself. I just wonder where your sense of compassion is? Have you ever made a decision you've regretted later? Jeff Johnson was twenty years old. I appreciate The Voice allowing you your soapbox, but Enough! is Enough!! I am very thankful our police and community have come together to resolve Jeff's MURDER, but regret you find it yet another opportunity to judge a young man who died alone and unarmed. Perhaps you do have all the answers, we could surely use your help in the trenches. Instead of condemning a young man you never knew, come help us mentor our young people in Mountain View. I promise you your sense of self-worth would increase one-hundred fold, and you just might save a life in the process.

Jeff, they will solve this case all the way, I know your watching above us. I miss you so much.I remember running up to ya in safeway parking lot and Just Laughing my hardest with you. I wish that you were still here for me to randomly run into you all over the place. I can't stop thinking about you and your family, i want to go over thier but I'm so scared to face them. I feel as if my whole world has turned upside down by the loss of you, such a senseless thing Jeff.I wish you were here and at the same time, I know you are in a better place. I know your mad you won't see us (your friends) until we're up there with you.But you do see us, and I think of you everyday Jeff. I miss you. Screw what people are saying about you being a "drug dealer" or "broker" whatever it is, You were so much More Than That, and These people don't know you like we did. That is what mattered. Love you always Jeff..R.I.P. see you when I get there. Take care of me okay =)

I am so thankful that they have caught at least 1 person involved in this terrible, senseless tragedy. I was not one of Jeff's best friends, although, I feel greatly affected by his death. I can only imagine how his family and close friends are handling all of this. Not a day has passed in which I have not thought of Jeff. I keep remembering little things about him. Every memory I have of him brings about a smile. He truly lit up a room just by being who he was. Attending his funeral made me realize just how many people's lives he touched. The entire church was full. I am comforted in knowing how much he was loved by others.

In saying that, I am truly sickened that some "coked up" 19 year-old kid, and his accomplices, actually felt like it was in anyway their right to come and take the life of this young man from the hundreds of people who loved him so deeply. It scares me to think that some kid could actually be so hardened by life that he was able to look Jeff in the eyes and pull the trigger of a gun, with the intention of taking his life.

I grew up in this area, and I am terrified by the direction that things are going. I can only hope that Jeff's murder, as well as the murder of the 17 year old shot last night in Mountain View, will bring about some kind of change. Obviously things are getting out of hand. Members of the community: I urge you to take a stand. Get involved. Become an advocate for teens. Start a neighborhood watch group. Do something. Anything. I can only imagine what things will be like 5 years from now, or even 1 year from now, if people do not start making a change today.

Jeff, you are missed by many on a daily basis, but you my friend, will never be forgotten.

KMA, are you freakin' kidding me?! This was obviously a very close friend of a young person who was murdered only a couple of weeks ago. Can you please find it in yourself to have some respect for people as they go through the grieving process?

As a long-time good friend of Jeff, I am very pleased that an arrest has been made. The actions of these horrible people who took Jeff's life has effected so many people. Jeff is greatly missed and will NEVER be forgotten. His laugh, his carisma, his unique personality and odd words to describe people or things. There were so many incredible things about Jeff that I, and so many others will miss. I hope the other two suspects are caught...really really soon :( Love you jefe
