To finish the second half of a re-decking project, the footbridge from the Stevens Creek Trail to Whisman Park and the Hetch-Hetchy Trail will be closed again this week.
The area's trail users should note that the footbridge will be closed Tuesday through Thursday, Sept. 13 to Sept. 15. Workers will be replacing the decking material on the Eastern half of the bridge after completing the Western half in August.
A map of the bridge is here. Detour signs will be posted directing users of the bridge through the Moffett Boulevard and Creekside Park entries to the Stevens Creek Trail.
For more information, email Bruce Hurlburt, parks and open space manager, at bruce.hurlburt@mountainview.gov or call (650) 903-6362.

Posted by Dee, a resident of the North Whisman neighborhood, on Sep 9, 2011 at 3:42 pm The employees who repaired the other end of the footbridge did an outstanding job.
Thank you for your hard work; sorry I don't know your names.
