No injuries in morning house fire

Firefighters in Mountain View quickly extinguished a two-alarm residential fire early this morning.

Units responded to a call from a resident at 722 Sonia Way at about 3:30 a.m., according to the Mountain View Fire Department.

The resident evacuated, and firefighters arrived to find the house engulfed with flames.

The fire was brought under control by 3:55 a.m.

No one was injured, and the cause remains under investigation.

The fire department reminded all resindts fo keep anything that can burn at least three feet away from heaters, furnaces and fireplaces.
