iPads stolen from Microsoft

Bookmark and Share
Five iPads were stolen over the Christmas holiday from a business in Mountain View. That business?

Microsoft.

According to Sgt. Sean Thompson, public information officer for the the Mountain View Police Department, the five tablet computers were taken from the 1075 La Avenida St. offices sometime between Dec. 19 and Dec. 26.

There is no suspect information and it is unknown how whoever stole the devices managed to enter the building, as there was no sign of forced entry, Thompson said.

Microsoft officials are apparently looking through security footage to see if it might reveal any clues.

You guys have your own "tablet PCs" anyway.

They didn't take any Microsoft Surfaces. Who would want one of those?

Microsoft is the oldest and largest Mac developer outside of Apple themselves, and part of their Apple development team is in the building from which the iPads were stolen.

Steve Ballmer took them. He is a notorious device snatcher.

They develop for Apple, but they all have Microsoft products at their desks as well -- including surfaces and laptops. Funny that those weren't stolen.
