Bookmark and Share
A pedestrian was struck and killed by a VTA light rail train in Mountain View early Monday morning, a VTA spokesman said.

An inbound train struck the person at 12:30 a.m. right outside of the Mountain View Station, 600 W. Evelyn Ave., said Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority spokesman Ethan Winston.

It was the last train of the night, making its last stop, Winston said.
