League hosts election panels and forums

To help voters prepare for the November election, the Mountain View-Los Altos Area League of Women Voters is holding a number of upcoming candidate forums and panels on ballot issues.

On Oct. 1 at 6:30 p.m. there will be an MVLA High School Board candidates forum, followed at 7:30 by a "pros and cons" discussion on state propositions. The forums will be held at Los Altos Library, 13 S. San Antonio Road, Los Altos.

On Monday, Oct. 6 from 7 to 9 p.m., a Mountain View City Council candidates forum will be held at the City Council Chambers, 500 Castro Street, Mountain View.

All of the events are free and open to the public.

The MV candidates forum is Oct. 6th, not the 2nd.
