Eleanor Bullock, age 88, born Dec. 5, 1923, of Concord, N.Y., formerly of Woodside, Calif., and Brockport, N.Y., entered her eternal home on Sunday, June 24, 2012.

She was born in Brockport, N.Y., the daughter of George S. and Ruth H. Terry. Eleanor graduated from Brockport High School in New York in 1941, prior to moving to California. She was an avid gardener, active member of the Rose Society, and enjoyed and promoted a healthy lifestyle. Eleanor was a long-time member of Tapestry Church. Her greatest passion was her love of Jesus Christ, to whom she credited her joys and purpose for life. Like the miniature roses she grew, she was a true rose, small in size, extremely hardy, and a profuse bloomer.

Eleanor was preceded in death by her husband, Robert W. Bullock, a sister, Lorinda Terry Call (Robert), and three brothers, George S. Terry, Jr., (Anne and Marty), Sherwin H. Terry (Jean), and James B. Terry (June and Norma). She is survived by her sister, Patricia T. Edelman (Paul) of Reading, PA., numerous (20) nieces and nephews, and many friends.

I am very sorry to see Eleanor has passed. She was a wonderful woman who worked very hard to live a good, honest life. She was an excellent wife to Robert, who could be a difficult man. Mostly I am sorry someopne forced her to move to the East Coast from a place where she was happy and had friends, and was active. The move, no doubt, killed her.
