A Palo Alto/Mountain View resident for 53 years, Mark was preceeded in death by his parents, George and Louise Lawrence, and his sister, Gayle. He is survived by his brother, Glenn, and Gayle's son, Jason. Mark was 54 years old.
A Cubberley High School Class of 1975 graduate, he was for more than the last 10 years a loyal employee of Action Reprographics, as well as an enthusiastic participant in his close friend Dennis "Bud" Kobza's motorcycle racing team/Bay Area Riders Forum/BARF.
He will be missed dearly by his family, his friend "Bud" Kobza (and his wife Loura), his BARF compadres, as well as his co-workers. To my brother -- 'Aloha Nui Loa, Mele Holoholo me ka A Hui Hou'.

Mark always...always knew how to cheer me up on a bad day, give me a swift kick when I needed it, and was always more concerned about how I was. I could pick up the phone anytime and within minutes be laughing. I loved him dearly and will miss him.

I am so sorry to hear of Mark's passing. I have some great memories of all of us hanging out at the Lawrence's in high school and I remember what a kind, fun person Mark was.

I am shocked to hear the news. We worked together for awhile with Dick at "Action". I enjoyed our daily discussions about the world and its situations. Mark was a bright and confident man. He will be missed.
