City seeks volunteers for advisory boards

The City of Mountain View is now accepting applications for various boards, committees and commissions. Citizens interested in serving in an advisory capacity to the City Council may apply by September 17.

Positions are available on the following committees:

• Library Board, 2 positions

• Environmental Planning Commission, 2 positions

• Human Relations Commission, 3 positions

• Parks and Recreation Commission, 1 position

• Bicycle/Pedestrian Advisory Committee, 1 position

• Downtown Committee, including: Downtown Property and Business Owner Category (2 positions); Business-at-Large (3 positions); Community-at-Large (1 position)

•Performing Arts Committee, 3 positions
