Voices Around Town

With Apple and Google rolling out comprehensive cloud computing suites, are you comfortable with storing your files on remote servers?

Asked in Downtown Mountain View. Pictures and interviews by Nick Veronin.

"I'd rather have all my things on my computer. I don't want another situation like (what happened) on the Playstation network, with all my files being stolen or leaked."

James Sidibe, East Palo Alto

"I'm very comfortable with keeping all my files in the cloud. It makes it easy to access it from any device and that's what I'm there for."

Chris Schultz, New Orleans

"I'd rather have my files stored right on my own computer."

Robert Bell, Mountain View

"I am comfortable with that. I would like the option to chose which items go in the cloud and which items stay in my hard drive, but overall I think that's a positive step and it's in the right direction."

Debbie Tsai, Los Altos

"I'm comfortable with storing my files in the cloud, because I think that's the direction we're all heading."

Kwong Liew, Cupertino
