I am so impressed with Jose's writing! He makes a thoughtful cogent argument for an innovative solution to a problem. I realize this was written a few years ago and Jose has moved on from MVHS since then, but the JustREAD program which helped him become a good writer is still offered at some of our local schools. I encourage people to become volunteer tutors and/or make monetary donations to support this fine program and the students like Jose who benefit from it. Web Link
