Slow food goes Mexican

Lulu's new Los Altos eatery delivers fresh, tasty dishes, but it can take a while

There's a whole new subset of Mexican food pervading the mid-Peninsula. The latest generation of burritos, tacos, tamales and other icons of Mexican cuisine touts freshness, sustainability and organic, local ingredients. In principle, that's a good thing.
