Police improve anonymous tip tech

Citizens may now text, use smartphone app to report suspicious circumstances

Even though we live in the heart of Silicon Valley, here's yet another example of how the city just doesn't get it.

Look at these instructions:
Citizens interested in reporting crimes through their browser can go to the City of Mountain View's website, click onto the MVPD's page under the tab marked "Public Safety" and scroll down to the hyperlink for the department's "online crime reporting tool."
