Car sparks three-alarm Montecito blaze

A three-alarm fire that started in a parked car and burned a Mountain View apartment complex this morning was controlled nearly two hours after the flames were reported.

I wonder what started the fire. Possibly an electrical short...But I don't see why it would short out by itself at 4am.
