Original post made by Gabe, another community, on May 6, 2008

The local MVLA Avalanche U15 Girls Soccer Team won their second consecutive Cal-North State Cup Championship last Saturday in Morgan Hill by defeating the Santa Rosa United soccer team 4-1. The Avalanche Team won 7 consecutive games and lost none during the month-long tournament. They scored 36 goals and only allowed 4 into their net during those seven games. The championship title earns the team the right to compete in the 2008 FarWest Regional Tournament in Hawaii from June 16th-23rd. More information about the team can be found at Web Link
