Swallowtail on bougainvillea

Ed Perry sent in this striking image of a swallowtail butterfly: "It drank heavily from the nectar of our 'society garlic' plants before resting and recharging in the sunlight of our bougainvillea, where we caught its image."

Thanks for posting the photo. We enjoy the butterflies moving in our garden.
