New service lets residents track crime online

Mountain View residents can now access a map of the crimes that occur in their neighborhood, thanks to a partnership between the city's Police Department and CrimeReports, an online crime-tracking service.

Hey this is great, but there needs to be more detail about what happened, what was stolen, what type of vehicle, etc....
