Not a hate crime? Huh???? The known and at-large suspects were Hispanic and African American. I guarantee if it had been the other way around, (e.g., 5 or 6 Caucasian suspects beating up two minorities) this would be charged as a hate crime. I wish the so called hate crime laws were enforced equally.

Perhaps a vigilance committee is in order.

of course i have no insight into the mind of the suspects, but someone from race A beating up someone from race B does not automatically make it a hate crime.

I thought only those Persons Of No Color commit hate crimes.
