Interesting. I reported a suspicious van last week across the street from my house on View St. that had a fake license plate, with the PD soon responding, who then had (according to my police scanner) to check the Vehicle ID number from the van's dashboard plate (as there was no real plate). The vehicle was later either escorted away, or otherwise left the area.
I can't help but think of how many other important event reports are commonly missing from this Police Log?
