Sounded like a jet plane was hovering low RIGHT over my house, and then the house shook and rumbled, but no seasick swaying. Short but still scary!

In Palo Alto, good shake on desk. Hope it releases with small ones like this. Get your gear ready!

One more little wake up call. If your neighborhood has a Community Emergency Response Team (CERT), join it. If your neighborhood doesn't have one, start one. Contact your city's fire department for training schedules. The CERT group in the Cuesta Park neighborhood is terrific.

I felt this, woke up for a second, went back to sleep. It was fun! I hope we have a bigger one soon.
