Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

Mountain View Voice readers go wild for these local businesses, and they showed their love by voting in this year’s Best of Mountain View poll.

These blockbusters are the places our readers say will treat you better than your own entourage. They stand apart from the crowd, whether it’s the service that makes customers feel like A-listers or talent that keeps your ride running as smoothly as a stretch limousine on its way to the Oscars. This year’s winners command red-carpet treatment from their loyal fans.

You’ll find our readers’ top picks for restaurants serving absolutely fabulous food, shops that put Rodeo Drive to shame, and the best watering hole to see and be seen while you wet your whistle. There are fitness classes to keep you looking divine and the best chiropractor for your spine, the top dry cleaner for your gown and the best happy hour in town. You’ll never have to guess what makes Mountain View residents stand up and cheer — it’s all right here.

  1. What if I don’t want to drive to downtown Palo Alto for a massage? Shouldn’t the “Best of Mountain View” be businesses in _Mountain_View_?

    Chef Chu
    Armadillo Willy
    Watercourse Way
    The Linden Tree

I’ve actually been to all of these places and they’re quite good but what does Mountain View have to offer in these categories?

  2. I totally agree with VQH, the Voice staff blew it again! Soo many Chinese restaurants in Mtn. View and the list not one but two outside the city.

    Fix it next time!

    Total FAIL!

  3. Looks like MAYBE somebody greased somebody’s palms on some of the choices and yes, I think the “winners” should be MOUNTAIN VIEW businesses, NOT Palo Alto, Los Altos and/or Sunnyvale. Being a former long time Mountain View resident and coming from the Old Downtown area we have tried and eaten at a lot of those places that DIDN’T make your “List” and must agree with a lot of the other commenters some of the choices are unworthy.

  4. Was the poll for the Best of Mountain View or Best Local businesses? If it’s the former, why bother including responses for businesses not in Mountain View?

  5. Just to clarify: The Voice staff does not pick the winners, we report on the results of the vote from our readers who chose to participate in the online ballot.
