Where is Woo Idea Farm?

Original post made by DrT on Apr 14, 2011

I have not seen him, his signs or his truck around in a long time. Did he finally give up and take his show on the road?

If you're asking about him, there's no need to give up, he's already won.

No, asking about what happened to a civic speaker who suddenly disappears just means that you are a thinking citizen who knows better than to trust government.

My "Unfinished Street Essay" is off of the streets because the $13 billion real estate interest is telling the city and the courts, "No street essays in Mountain View. In particular, this guy's speech will definitely not be tolerated."

To be specific, I face a felony charge, more than 30 misdemeanor charges, and must rely on, you guessed it, the county government, to defend me. In addition, I am out twice on bail, which cost me a pretty penny, and am also on supervised own recognizance, which means that if I pick my nose in public I will be whisked back to prison. All of that wasn't enough to keep me silenced; what finally got me off of the street was a court order that, pending adjudication of all of these charges against me, prohibits me from placing any equipment on the public highway, which includes the sidewalk.

But that's not all, folks. Did any of you take notice that the government seized both of my "Doghouses" without a warrant? I slept in the rain from mid December onward and am still living out of a sleeping bag.

No, I am not writing from pre-revolution Libya. All of this happened right under your comatose noses.

I know what you're thinking, right now. "He's getting testy. I am not enjoying this. Time to change the channel."

So to ahead; change the channel. I cannot "save our republic" all by myself. If you won't lift a finger to help, then the cause is lost. Liberty does not live in a law book or in the courts. Liberty either lives in the hearts of a vigilant people or it does not live at all.

Hoping maybe to see you at Breakfast this Sunday. I am leaving town so it will be my last time there.
