Thank you for this article. You are wise to be cautious. There is plenty of solid research documenting the dangers of electromagnetic radiation, it just doesn't make in into mainstream media in the US. For example, check out www.BioInitiative.org and www.magdahavas.com. I hired a Master Electrician to go through my house with instruments to measure radiation levels and videotaped the whole thing. The results were shocking. The instruments don't lie. Check it out: www.youtube.com/watch?v=1UJ64gfCKQI

I am a Southern Californian whose family has been harmed by the smart meters installed on our property by our utility. I cannot use the entire end of the house where the meter is without getting a splitting headache and more illness from the proximity to the electric meter, which is on my bedroom wall. This is an outrage, brought to us by our totally corrupted governmental agencies (CPUC) and elected politicians (including the governor and all of them), who stand idly by, even when informed of the thousands made ill (who realize it - undoubtedly more who don't). The utility companies are like a dictatorship in a third world, now they are directly harming us. We have to beg to not be harmed and pay them. Anyone see anything wrong with that picture? Go to www.smartmeterdangers.org to learn more. Every American needs to learn about this and read the info on that site. Joshua Hart is entirely right.

PS Maybe the town of Hinkley, CA should have paid PG&E not to be poisoned, too? If we allow the utility companies to harm us or harm anyone, it is giving up all our American liberties. We are giving up our freedoms to enjoy our property, this is a trespass on our homes of dangerous radiation. Hirsch, an expert on radiation, found that smart meters emit up to 160 times more full body radiation than cell phones. Try that for size. The utility denials are based on one flawed industry report (not a study). Read more at www.smartmeterdangers.org. Please support Joshua Hart's efforts. Go to www.stopsmartmeters.org.
