House's smoke alarm 'saved our lives'

Shortly after 4 a.m. on the morning of April 28, Tim Dobbins, along with his wife, daughter and the two family cats, were stirred by the shriek of their smoke alarm. Their house was on fire.

Sometimes insurance doesn't cover it.
