What kind of lock did the owner have on his bicycle? How did the thief defeat the lock? Was this a professional thief with an assortment of lock cutting tools in his "black plastic bag"? I'd like to know so I can keep my bicycle safe when visiting downtown Mountain View. Thanks.

Bike thieves are absolute scum. No surprise the guy was a meth head.

Crazy, but love that the thief never got the bike and that he was nabbed.
