I hope that at least with some of the faculty, that a thought and prayer (yes, a prayer) went out for the late Hubert (Hugh) Riddell.

Hugh served MVHS for many years, and retired as Asst. Dean of students. He passed away on May 31 after a vigorous five year fight.

Hugh touched hundreds of lives, young and old during his MVHS and after years. He is missed.
His services will be at 4 pm on June 13 (Thursday next week) at St. Lukes Lutheran Church in Sunnvale (Wright Ave. off Fremont).
I would be nice so see a contingent from MVHS there.

I would have loved to be at graduation. Congrats to you all as graduating seniors. Go forth and do well.

Yes, the field ROCKED!
Thanks for this article, Nick, and for honoring all of the graduates by listing their names in this article.
George, thanks for letting us all know of the memorial for Hugh Riddell. He helped MVHS students for many years.

Don't miss out on the discussion!
