At the conclusion of his year-long fellowship with the U.S. Department of Education, Alta Vista High School social studies teacher Marciano Gutierrez was faced with a difficult choice.

Congratulations Mr. Guiterrez! And great work.

The Voice might also want to know that a Castro School Spanish Dual Immersion teacher was a selected for and just completed a US State Department Fullbright this past year as part of a teacher exchange to Uruguay.
