Fighting summer hunger

Shame on these elderly folks complaining about young people! What happened to investing in future generations? The elderly get Medicare and pay 10% of the property taxes their neighbors pay. They couldn't afford to live here without their $10,000+ yearly handouts through Prop 13, yet they begrudge the cheap, [Portion removed due to offensive language] food going to poor kids.
