With one eligible incumbent not running, the filind deadline will be extended to Wednesday, August 13 at 5 pm (Registar of Voters Office in San Jose). Someone else should run to give voters some choice.

Since this article was published, two more candidates filed and qualified for the election, including the incumbent. Therefore, the filing deadline was not extended to Wednesday.

The voters will get their choice! :)
