Editorial: 'Host family' plan is sound public policy, with a heart

"A lot of people are pro life -- this is a pro-life issue." That's how St. Joseph Church parishioner Sylvia Villasenor framed the urgent issue of caring for Central American children who have been caught crossing the U.S.-Mexico border in record number, unaccompanied by an adult and without resources. And she's right.

These kids need to go back to there parents. We are not a host nation for the world.

The truth be known, these are not kids, they are teenage gang members.

And wouldn't you know it -- the venom vipers have shown up already.

Wouldn't be surprised if the above posters actually consider themselves *good* Christians. As if they actually knew what that meant.

Okay to the last post. You can be first to house, clothe, feed, some of these "children," especially the teenagers with gang tatoos on their necks, and in addition make sure that you are liable if they decide to run away into the community. And don't forget you can also pay for their health care, take them to schools, etc. until you realize that even Jesus separated church from state.
